CNC Generals: gowmanAG's Maps
These maps are all made by
gowmanAG, OUR official map maker.
To learn how to load the
maps read the to "install.txt" file included in every download.
The *
denotes the map is a second release. There are
some enhancements that make this map even better.

This map is a little bit different then
others. It is not really made for team play. It’s 3 Player, which could be
used as a Free For All, or for a challenge someone could do a 2 vs. 1 match
with friends. Detail is very high on this map, with a nice small city near
the center. Their trains running all over the map for interest, but watch
out, they may run you over if you get in their way. Don’t think it is a
glitch when two trains crash into each other, that was intended. There is a
good amount of supplies for a good game, and plenty of ways to get into
your enemies base, unlike some maps where theirs only one or 2 ways in.
There are plenty of structures to garrison or just blow up for fun. Enjoy.

A very nicely laid out 8 player map.
Highly detailed and well textured with a good amount of resources to
support 8 players. How many players you decide to play on this map, and the
way teams are set up are up to you. You can do almost every type of game on
this map, such as 4 Player Free For all, 2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3, 4 vs. 4 and even
2 vs. 2 vs. 2 vs. 2. It’s a Great tournament type map.

This large very detailed 8-player map, has a flowing
river down the center of the map with 4 players on each side. Running along
the river on both sides is the City. Ocean waves go along the coast. There
are derricks on each side of the river for players, as well as Hospitals in
the city area. This is a highly detailed map, with a good layout, making it
perfect for 4 on 4 play tournament type games.
Please note that this map comes in 3 versions. One is
Raging Darkness the main map of the three; it is set at Nightfall. Second
is Raging Brightness, same map but at day break. Lastly is Raging
Brightness vLow, for older computers, as well as for online play. It does
NOT include the flowing river, or ocean waves, and is also missing several
objects that the other two have. This was done to make game slow down at a
minimum. I recommend if you want to play this map online, to only use the
vLow version because even if you have High system specs, your enemy may
not, and the game will run VERY poorly. So stick with Raging Brightness
vLow.

Map Works as 2 vs. 2 or will make great
4 players Free For All map as well. Each player is on his or her own
cliff; there are 3 ways up to each player’s base, two by ramp, and 1 by
bridge. The map in some ways is symmetrical, meaning that it’s the same on
all sides. The map has a good texturing job done on it, as well as
exceptional detail. In the middle of the map is a cliff, which has bridges
from each player’s base going to it, on that cliff are lots of supplies and
some money crates. So it’s more of a race to hold the center island
first. Having it as a Free for all will make it quite competitive to hold
that center island. I put a lot of thought and effort into this map, and
hope it becomes a favorite of your collection.

If you guessed by the
name yes it’s a remake of the Red Alert 2 East Vs Best. The layout matches
the ra2 version very closely. I did this by taking many pictures of the
ra2 Version, as well as opening the Ra2 version in the Red Alert 2 editor,
however the texturing is quite different then the ra2 version. The reason
is I first textured it just like the ra2 one, but in ra2 you only had like
5 textures to work with, where as generals has a hundred or more. Plus a
general’s map being just one grass type and sand looks ugly. So the map is
quite detailed. Yes there are derricks because ra2 version had them.
Resources on this map is done just like my Tour of Egypt remake. All
supply piles no docks; to give it that resource-gathering feel that ra2 to
do with harvesting ORE. The map makes a great 3 vs. 3, because team mates
are close together making it easy to help each other out. The first thing
you should do on this map like the Red Alert 2 one, is head for the middle
of the map and try and make a strong hold. Anyway I hope my work has paid
off and it gives you flash backs of playing on the Red Alert 2 East Vs.

Great map that has various types of play.
This map works great for 6 player free for all, 3 vs. 3, or even 2 vs. 2
vs. 2, the combination are up to you. The maps terrain varies place to
place, cliffs divide the players, in the center of the map are derricks to
fight over, and Supply docks can be found on most of the cliffs. To fit 6
players with plenty of building space, I had to make the map quite large,
so I made it detailed and well textured, but not so much that it will lag.
Good map over all, worth your time, Makes a great team, or solo map. AI has
been tested many times, and puts up a good fight. I have played this map
many times online, and most people really like it, and I hope you do to. |

This map has 2 players separated by a flowing river down the
center of the map; there is 1 bridge to cross the river, which means a
great choke point spot. Like the name says there are many Oil Derricks on
this map, also there is a Arab city on one side of the river with people
and some cars moving around on it, there are also some neutral choppers and
airplanes flying around the map to give it a little extra kick of reality. |

A nicely Balanced 3 vs.
3 desert map, with a flowing river down the center of the map, there are 5
bridges going across the river so their wont be that many choke points, and
it will be a little bit harder to defend. All 6 players get 2 supply
docks, 2 Oil Derricks, and one Oil refinery, so there is no advantage for
any one player, just pure strategy, unless some one is a resource hog.

This is a Tournament
type map, its head to head. Each player has one supply dock near by and two
derricks for capture, there are more supplies in other parts of the map.
This is a nicely detailed snow map, and the computers on brutal work very
well, it wont be a easy win a guarantee, unless you rush the comp right
away.

This is a very large,
very detailed 4-player map, this map works as a 2 vs. 2 or a Free For All.
In the center of the map is a large lake, going around the lake is a road
that goes through some small towns, on the road has moving traffic, and in
one town, and in the park are people walking around. Since there is so much
going on in this map, it will run slower then usual maps, and if you have
an older comp, it may not run at all.
I would not even attempt to play this map online, if it runs slow offline,
online it probably won’t even load.

This is a great head
to head map, with enough resources for a good game, since its 1 vs. 1 watch
out for the beginning rush. This map has each player on its on island with
a bridge going to the main island that has three dormant volcanoes. This
map has good detail with lots of different levels of terrain.

This is a 1 vs. 1 map
with decent resources and two oil derricks to fight over. There are three
bridges on this map as your means of getting around, also on one island
there is a small middle eastern city and in the out skirts of the city is a
small terrorist organization. If you put a comp on brutal on this map your
in for a fight, They rush from both entrances so watch out.

This is a 3 vs. 3 map that has
each team on cliffs with ramps down to the main land and two bridges on each
side that connect to the enemies cliffs. A river runs down the center of the
map then splits around a island and then becomes one again, the island in the
center of the map has to bridges going to it, and on the island are a few
goodies. This map has great detail and has adequate resources for a good game.

This is a 3 vs. 3 desert map and
if you guessed by the name it’s a remake of Yuri’s Revenge most popular map
played online “Tour of Egypt”, I changed it a little to make it more
interesting, this map has 6 derricks, 3 per cliff in the middle of the map, this
map has plenty of resources for a good 6 player beryl.

This is a 2 vs. 2
map with plenty of resources, the terrain varies from place to place. There is a
train that runs around the border of the map, so be careful not to get in its
way or it will crush your tanks/infantry. This is a very detailed map and works
with comps.

This is an Island
2 vs. 2 map. Each player gets his own island, and there are two bridges going to
each players island, one is connecting the two allies islands, the other
connects to the center island where there are four oil derricks and a supply
depot. Since all four players main bridge connects to the same island, it will
get pretty competitive trying to capture and keep the derricks.

This is a 2 vs. 2 map with good supply’s for each
person. Each player has three oil derricks near bye for capture. This maps
terrain type is mostly grassy but in the mountains in the middle it changes here
and there. Best strategy for this map is to first take control of the bunkers
and small structures in the mountains and then build some defense weapons. This
is a good 2 vs. 2 map and each player has a good amount of building space for
structures.
