CNC Generals: System Requirements
The system Requirements are as follows for solo play and up to two players
multi play:
- Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP, 95 and NT4 are NOT supported
- 800 MHZ Pentium 3 or AMD Athlon processor
- 128 MB RAM
- 8x cd-rom
- More than 1.8 GB hard drisk space, for saved games and windows usage.
- AGP 32 MB video card using the Geforce 2 series or higher, and the ATI
Radeon 7500 or any more recent Direct x 8.1 or 9.0 card. PCI cards will
not run the game optimally and are below game specs in general.
- Directx 8.1 capable 16-bit sound card
If you have at least this you can run the game, but you cannot run it nearly
as good as if you have their recommended requirements for Solo play or 2-8
players:
- 1.8 GHZ Pentium 4 or Athlon XP Processor
- 256 MB or more RAM
- More than 1.8 GB hard disk space free
- Nvidia GeForce 3 or more recent Direct3D capable video card
These are the minimum requirements for Multiplayer games:
- 256 MB RAM for 3-8 players
- One set of game discs per player
Internet (2-4 players)
- 56 Kbps or faster direct connection
Internet (5-8 players)
- Cable, DSL or other high-speed internet connection.
Network (2-8 players)
