Zero Hour: gowmanAG's Maps

These maps are all made by gowmanAG, OUR official map maker.
To learn how to load the maps read the to "install.txt" file included in every download. 
The
* denotes the map is a second release.  There are some enhancements that make this map even better.

Canyon in between

A nicely Balanced 3 vs. 3-desert map, with a flowing river down the center of the map. There are 2 sets of bridges as your means of going across the river as well as one land cross way so their wont be that many choke points, but it will be a little bit harder to defend. All 6 players get 2 supply docks, 2 Oil Derricks, and one Oil refinery, so there is no advantage for any one player, just pure strategy, unless some one is a resource hog. Detail is good, for a desert that is. Makes an excellent 3 vs. 3 map.

Base Race

Map Works as 2 vs. 2 or will make a great 4 player Free For All map as well. The map in some ways is symmetrical, meaning that it’s the same on all sides. It has a good texturing job done on it, as well as decent detail. In the middle of the map is a cliff, which has bridges from each player’s base going to it; on that cliff are lots of supplies and some money crates. So it’s more of a race to hold the center island first. Having it as a Free for all will make it quite competitive to hold that center island. I put a lot of thought and effort into this map, and hope it becomes a favorite of your collection.

Changes from the Generals version to Zero Hour include, new buildings/Tech buildings, new objects, textures and more. Also the four water pools on the map have a complete new look.

Tour of Egypt

This is a 3 vs. 3 desert map and if you guessed by the name it’s a remake of Yuri’s Revenge most popular map played online “Tour of Egypt”. It has tones of supply piles for your source of cash, no supply docks are on this map. Reason being that the real Tour map has ORE, which takes, up a lot of space on the map, where as supply docks do not. So I used supply piles to fill in that space (It won’t effect how rich you are, trust me).

From Generals to Zero Hour I added more hills and cliffs, increase in palm trees, Pyramids, more rocks, and other desert things as well. The map has a more of a Egypt feel now, and I find it much more eye appealing.

East vs. Best

If you guessed by the name yes it’s a remake of the Red Alert 2 East Vs Best. The layout matches the ra2 version very closely, however the texturing is quite different to make the map more eye appealing. There is Oil derricks for capture, and plenty of money to support 6 players. This is a great team play map, with a good layout, so enjoy.

I would have changed this map even more from Generals to Zero hour, but I wanted to keep it close the ra2 version, so I mostly changed the texturing job, because for generals it looked kind of odd, or as a friend of mine described it “Drunk Clown Makeup.

Swiss Mountainside

This is Swiss Mountainside from Generals converted to Zero Hour. Not only that I have made many changes to the map, most you won’t even notice, you would really have to compare the maps side by side to see my changes, except for the new tech buildings I added, which are very noticeable. Things I changed include many new textures, new buildings, objects, and the 9 generals work great on this map. The new GLA motor Bikes have a good advantage on this map because its filled with hills and cliffs, for them to climb up and jump off of.
